After images of the device leaked online last week, Amazon has officially announced their new Echo device, the Echo Show. It’s similar to previous models in that it has a wide-array directional microphone system to listen for its wake word, “Alexa”, but this one boasts a seven-inch touchscreen for viewing online content, making video calls and much more. The futuristic gadget is available for preorder on Amazon.com for $229.99 USD.
